eTax sister company of e‑finance wins contract to develop digital platform for Egypt’s Ministry of Finance
Cairo, 3 AUG 2025:
eTax, a subsidiary of e-finance for Financial and Digital Investments and a technology partner to the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, has been awarded a new contract to develop and operate a specialized electronic platform for managing exceptional cases within Egypt’s e-invoicing and e-receipt systems.
This move comes as part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen the digital transformation of the national tax system and improve operational efficiency using advanced technology.
The new platform will play a critical role in identifying high-priority cases, supporting timely decision-making, and enhancing compliance through data-driven insights and analytics.
Mr. Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman of e-finance for Financial and Digital Investments, commented :This new contract with the Ministry of Finance marks a strategic step in our ongoing efforts to position e-finance as a leading enabler of Egypt’s digital economy.
