Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt Launches Employee Wellbeing Program to Promote Work-Life Balance for Its Employees

Cairo, August 2025:

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) successfully launched the Employee Wellbeing Program in line with its commitment to enhance work culture and promote work-life balance. This initiative stems from the Bank’s belief that its employees are its greatest assets, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and provides opportunities for professional development and personal growth directly enhances employee satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to sustainable performance.

The program covers wide range of activities that were planned to enhance the work environment and support effective communication among the team, which has become an increasingly important goal for the Bank stemming from its commitment to employee well-being and individual health in the workplace.

The program has been specifically tailored in alignment with people’s aspirations and lifestyle and it’s kick off was through a family day organized in cooperation with KidZania, where employees were invited to enjoy a day filled with fun and warmth with colleagues and families enjoying games and activities that helped strengthen their sense of belonging and helped them connect in a friendly and exciting atmosphere.

In celebration of summer season, the Bank also distributed special beach gifts to all employees, reflecting its appreciation for their dedication and its continued efforts to promote workplace happiness. Additionally, ABK-Egypt organized a two-day health awareness event at its headquarters, offering employees free of charge health screenings across various specialties, as well as consultations and awareness sessions focused on general health and wellbeing.

It is worth mentioning that ABK-Egypt is always keen on investing in employee development and recognition as they will remain its number one asset. That is achieved through providing effective training and capacity building programs to increase their efficiency, enhance their opportunities in gaining practical experience, and enable them to achieve their personal and professional ambitions.
