Entreprenelle launched the first edition of «SheCan – Food & Beverage (F&B)», under the patronage of the

Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Council for Women. The event was attended by more than 1,000 visitors and 47 speakers.

Background

During the 10th major edition of “She Can” in April 2025, the Food & Beverage Stage attracted over 2,000 visitors, while the Food Market, held in partnership with Ms. Mai El-Sahhar, Founder of Food Platform Market, achieved sales exceeding EGP 1.5 million in a single day.
This outstanding success reflected the sector’s rapid growth and potential, prompting Entreprenelle to dedicate a standalone event to the F&B industry — aiming to empower women entrepreneurs and encourage them to seize emerging opportunities while providing a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and innovation.

Vision and Objectives

The event aimed to:

  • Empower women entrepreneurs in the F&B sector.

  • Encourage them to seize new market opportunities.

  • Foster collaboration and innovation in a fast-growing field.

  • Provide direct access to knowledge, mentorship, and industry networks.

Government Representatives and Partners

It also gathered entrepreneurs in the Food & Beverage sector, physicians, food content creators, renowned chefs, nutrition experts, and representatives of major brands — all united by a shared commitment to collaboration and women’s empowerment in this vital industry.

Statement by Entreprenelle Founder

Ms. Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, stated that the Food & Beverage sector holds immense promise and potential. She highlighted that the company has successfully implemented 28 rounds of The Food Project program, supporting over 500 entrepreneurs — both women and men — to transform their passion into sustainable and successful businesses.

She emphasized that women’s economic empowerment goes beyond launching profitable ventures — it transforms families, strengthens communities, and drives national economic growth. This event, she explained, serves as a practical platform to empower women in one of Egypt’s most dynamic and rapidly expanding sectors.

The event featured a comprehensive program that attracted hundreds of participants. It included:

  • 11 panel discussions with F&B experts and specialists.

  • 3 workshops focused on developing small and medium-sized enterprises.

  • Inspiring success stories of women who built promising food brands.
