engazaat Wins EEA 2025 Award for Transformative Sustainability in Partnership with Nestlé

engazaat was named the winner of the Disruptive Duo for Market Innovation Award at the Egypt Entrepreneur Awards (EEA) 2025, recognizing its cross-sector partnership with Nestlé to build a reliable, low-carbon, and locally anchored sourcing ecosystem.

The award highlights a collaboration that began in 2024, when Nestlé sought an Egyptian partner capable of providing sustainably produced agricultural inputs for its brands, while strengthening water and energy efficiency across its operations and farmer network. engazaat offered a model that removes capital hurdles, delivers clean infrastructure as a service, and embeds farmer training directly into the value chain. engazaat created a sourcing system grounded in local production rather than imported inputs.

With Nestlé sponsoring this shared value initiative to achieve its global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and regenerative agriculture commitments, engazaat designed and delivered a tailored program that has already trained over 650 farmers and agricultural professionals, with a plan to exceed 5,000 farmers over the next five years.

This collaboration sits within engazaat’s broader work as one of Egypt’s most integrated clean-infrastructure companies, with a vision to democratize access to sustainable resources by removing upfront capital and technical barriers. engazaat designs, finances, builds, owns, and operates solar and water assets while providing agronomic support and capacity-building programs through engazaat Agro, and its ecosystem of companies.
