eTax has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to leverage specialized expertise and build advanced digital capabilities through a comprehensive approach.
This step comes as part of eTax’s ongoing digital transformation journey, within a series of advisory partnerships aimed at supporting institutional development and enhancing digital capacities.
The MoU focuses on collaboration to develop digital strategy components that improve operational efficiency and analytical capabilities, enhance the use of data and artificial intelligence, and support data-driven decision-making, ultimately contributing to overall institutional performance improvement.
Areas of cooperation include assessing the current state of digital systems, contributing to strategic direction planning, identifying artificial intelligence use cases, establishing appropriate governance frameworks, designing data architecture, and preparing an actionable roadmap in line with global best practices.
The MoU also stipulates the implementation of joint governance mechanisms to monitor collaboration areas, and the adoption of a comprehensive project management framework to ensure the quality of deliverables and adherence to agreed timelines. Detailed execution plans will be defined through separate service agreements between the two parties.
This initiative is part of a broader series of advisory partnerships that eTax is implementing sequentially, following an approach aimed at diversifying expertise and benefiting from specialized experiences, with additional partnerships expected in the near future.

Sarhan emphasized eTax’s commitment to expanding its network of collaborations with leading global consulting firms to ensure knowledge transfer, adopt innovative solutions, and strengthen long-term institutional sustainability.
For his part, Khaled Abdelghany, Managing Director and CEO of eTax, confirmed that the MoU reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to a comprehensive digital capability development path, achieved through collaboration with specialized global consulting firms, supporting data-driven planning and enhancing institutional performance efficiency.
