Roomz.rent Secures Pre-Seed Funding to Revolutionize Urban Co-Living Across MENA

Dubai 23 Jun 2025:

Roomz.rent has successfully raised a pre-seed funding round led by Qora71 (Hub71-based angel investor syndicate) and other angel investors.

Born in Cairo, Roomz.rent is the region’s first co-living platform, providing hassle-free, affordable, and flexible long-term room rentals starting from just 3 months.

By intelligently matching tenants with ideal flatmates and offering fully managed accommodations, Roomz.rent addresses the common struggles faced by renters in urban cities, such as high rental costs, rigid lease terms, and the difficulty of finding compatible flatmates.

Since launching in November 2024, the platform has sold over $100,000 worth of contracts in under 5 months, with an average stay of 9 months per contract.

Roomz.rent is on a mission to scale Cairo first, then expand across the region one city at a time, bringing a smarter way of living to urban centers across MENA.

Beyond convenience, Roomz.rent is driving real societal impact by helping young professionals, expats, and students cut their rental costs in half, without compromising on comfort, privacy, or quality of living.

Mohamed Ayman, CEO: “We’re aiming to make city living more accessible to everyone. Roomz.rent create a new standard of urban living, one where flexibility, community, and affordability come built-in. Cairo is just the beginning.”

Youssef Salem, Director of Qora71: “Roomz.rent is tackling one of the biggest and most broken categories in MENA, urban rentals. It is a unique blend of real estate operations, tech-enabled matching, and cultural relevance. In just months, they’ve shown traction and discipline we usually see at a later stage than pre-seed”.
