Launch of Local Water Heater Production
Ariston, the global leader in water heating and home comfort, has officially launched its locally produced range of water heaters at its new facility in 6th of October City, Giza. The event featured Umberto G. Crovella, Executive Vice President Middle East, Africa, and Asia, Emmanuel Giomi, Head of the West AMEA Region, and Tarek Refaat, Country Manager for Egypt.
This launch reflects Ariston’s long-term commitment to the Egyptian market while emphasizing local manufacturing and product innovation. The facility will serve the Egyptian market and has the potential to support exports to neighboring Middle Eastern and African countries.
Factory and Job Creation
The new Ariston facility spans 40,000 m² and provides hundreds of job opportunities. Furthermore, it allows the company to seize regional growth prospects by producing water heating solutions tailored to African and Middle Eastern markets.
Expanding the Local Product Portfolio
Ariston has introduced 20 new “Made in Egypt” water heater models, bringing its local portfolio to over 60 products. These include electric storage water heaters and gas instantaneous water heaters, catering to a wide range of household needs in Egypt.
Rubis Electric Storage Water Heaters
The Rubis range offers capacities from 15L to 100L, featuring titanium-enameled tanks with TitanShield technology for corrosion resistance. Copper heating elements ensure durability, while eco-friendly insulation supports energy efficiency. Ariston provides a five-year warranty on the tank.
Its modern Italian design, crafted by award-winning designer Umberto Palermo, comes in slim and compact models suitable for various home spaces.
Speed Evo Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters
The Speed Evo gas instantaneous water heaters will soon join the local production line. These heaters deliver continuous, instant hot water, with advanced ignition technology, energy-saving performance, and modern safety systems.
Egyptian Market and Regional Expansion
Egypt represents one of the most dynamic markets in the region, with rising demand for thermal comfort solutions due to urbanization and housing projects. The new facility strengthens Ariston’s local presence, enabling it to better serve Egyptian households while supporting regional expansion.
