Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt organizes visit to «Ahl Masr Foundation & Burn Hospital» to support patients undergoing their treatment
Under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt
Cairo, October 2025:
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) recently organized a field visit to Ahl Masr Foundation & Burn Hospital for volunteering staff members in support of the “Sehetak Amana – صحتك أمانة” initiative that was recently launched by the Central Bank of Egypt across the banking sector.
Continued Partnership
This visit comes as a continuation of the active role that ABK-Egypt plays in supporting the health sector in Egypt and its long-term partnership with Ahl Masr Foundation & Burn Hospital, through which the Bank has made several contributions supporting the hospital construction and availing medical supplies to help patients throughout their treatment journey.
Awareness & Engagement
As part of the volunteering day, an awareness session was organized for Bank employees in collaboration with the hospital’s medical team covering first aid for burn injuries and immediate response techniques. Additionally, the visit featured a tour around the hospital, where Bank employees handed out gifts and spread joy among patients and their families.
Commitment to Sustainability
Since it started its operations in Egypt in 2016, ABK-Egypt has been a strong advocate for sustainable development, realizing its direct impact on economic and social stability. Hence, the Bank consistently aligns its CSR strategy with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) agenda and the Egyptian government’s direction towards Egypt’s Vision 2030. This has been quite evident in the various community development initiatives launched by the Bank over the years to provide financial relief, shelter, educational, medical support, and food supplies to underprivileged segments, in addition to further initiatives that empower women, youth, and individuals with disabilities.
