Telecom Wadi, a subsidiary of Wadi Holding Group, has announced the appointment of Mohamed Hossam as Commercial Director, where he will lead the company’s commercial strategy aimed at accelerating growth, increasing revenues, and expanding strategic partnerships with telecom operators, fintech companies, and various distribution channels across the Egyptian market.
Implementing Expansion Plans
In his new role, Hossam will oversee the execution of Telecom Wadi’s expansion plans, set pricing strategies, develop commercial channels, manage key accounts, and lead sales teams to ensure the company achieves its objectives amid the rapidly evolving digital services landscape.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining Telecom Wadi, Mohamed Hossam spent more than five years at Basata, serving as Head of Banking and Partnerships, where he managed the company’s relationships with banks in the Egyptian market and worked closely with the Central Bank of Egypt, as well as global payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
His career also includes roles in business development and sales at fintech companies in Egypt and the UAE, providing him with extensive experience in electronic payments and financial inclusion.
