Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) today announced its Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking 50 years of dedicated service to education and the Indian community in the UAE.
The milestone was formally unveiled at a press conference held at the school campus, where senior leadership outlined the institution’s remarkable journey and future vision.
Speaking to the media, Vice Chairman Mr. Sharad Bhandari, Education Head Mr. Shabeer M.M., and Principal Dr. Rishi Padegaonkar highlighted the school’s growth from a modest beginning in 1975 with 59 students into one of the region’s most respected educational institutions, currently educating nearly 5,000 students and having nurtured over 1,80,000 alumni worldwide.
The Golden Jubilee inaugural ceremony will be held on 1 February 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the ADIS campus, under the theme “Legacy of ADIS – Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” The landmark event will be graced by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan as Chief Guest, alongside distinguished dignitaries, alumni, parents, and community leaders.
Over five decades, ADIS has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, consistently producing CBSE, Gulf and UAE toppers, while excelling in sports and holistic development. The school’s journey has been driven by visionary leadership, continuous infrastructure expansion, and a deep commitment to values, sustainability, and community service.
