Techne Launches the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League and Signs a Monumental MOU with the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Techne, a leader in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, is proud to announce the launch of the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League and the signing of an MOU with the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League  press conference.

During a landmark press conference, Techne unveiled the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League, an ambitious competition encouraging startups across Egyptian Governorates to showcase their innovative ideas in the Green Economy Sector. This initiative offers startups a chance to win a prize valued at 200,000 EGP and presents an invaluable platform for creativity and recognition. With a focus on promoting gender equality, the competition will award the top female-led startup , ensuring equitable support for all entrepreneurs. The Egyptian Entrepreneurship League will select 36 startups, three from each governorate, to present their ideas on social media channels. The top 12 will then have the opportunity to pitch live at Techne Summit Cairo 2024.

In conjunction with this launch, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Techne, marking a significant collaboration to bolster entrepreneurship in Egypt. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to nurturing startup growth and innovation within the nation. The press conference also sets the stage for future discussions among key stakeholders, government representatives, and industry experts on the trajectory of entrepreneurship in Egypt.
