CBE Issues a Decree to Extend the Grace Period for Auditors and Affiliated Accounting Firms to Complete their Listing in CBE Register

Cairo, June xxx 2025:

In light of the expiration of the grace period for auditors and their affiliated accounting firms listed in the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) register on May 20th, 2025 to regularize their situation — as stipulated in the terms and conditions governing the listing and delisting of auditors and accounting firms in the CBE’s register — the CBE’s Board of Directors has approved a six-month extension of the grace period, concluding on November 20th, 2025.
