Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt and Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation Continue their journey with «Our Children, Our Future» initiative across Upper Egypt
For the Fifth Consecutive Year
Cairo, November 2025:
In line with Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt’s (ABK-Egypt) commitment to achieve sustainable development goals and stemming from its belief in the importance of supporting Egyptian children as the nation’s cornerstone of a better future, the Bank continues its partnership with Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation for the fifth consecutive year through “Our Children, Our Future” initiative. This project is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to children in underprivileged areas, aiming to build a healthier generation capable of contributing to Egypt’s development.
This year, the initiative expands into Upper Egypt, with a plan that includes 10 specialized medical convoys reaching four governorates: Aswan, Luxor, Qena, and Minya, in addition to 20 pediatric surgeries for children in need. Each convoy will offer comprehensive medical services covering six different specialties, prioritizing access to villages and remote areas that lack essential healthcare.
Over the past years, this partnership has successfully deployed 24 medical convoys across various Egyptian governorates, delivering more than 26,000 pediatric medical examinations from various specialties, alongside over 4,000 health awareness sessions. These efforts have had a tangible impact on improving access to healthcare services for children and families in remote areas.
In the same context, the Bank organized a field visit for Aswan branch employees to participate in the launch of the first medical convoy in 2025. ABK-Egypt staff members volunteered to help spread joy among patients and their families and provide support to doctors who were conducting a wide range of medical check-ups and providing healthcare services to patients. This staff-led initiative highlights ABK-Egypt’s commitment to creating a positive impact and improve the lives of individuals and families in need.
Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation is proud to mark the fifth year of this inspiring partnership with ABK – Egypt, which reflects our shared vision of investing in the health of our children. This year, our move into Upper Egypt reaffirms our commitment to delivering specialized medical services to the farthest corners of the country, creating a real and lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
ABK – Egypt continues, through this collaboration, its mission of supporting all segments of society by launching initiatives that target the underprivileged families. At the same time, Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation remains dedicated to its humanitarian mission of spreading hope and delivering quality healthcare across underserved villages throughout Egypt—contributing to the collective effort of building a healthier, more prosperous society.
