Cairo, Egypt, December 17, 2025:
realme, the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand in Egypt, marked a major milestone by hosting an exclusive tour of its local factory for key partners to showcase the production stages of its upcoming realme C85 Pro.
The tour highlighted realme’s growing investments in the Egyptian market, its ability to expand production capacity, improve operational efficiency, and maintain consistent product quality at its local factory, which has total investments of 50 million dollars.
This comes as part of realme’s strategy to strengthen its position in smartphone manufacturing in the Egyptian market and reflects the company’s commitment to supporting local industry by increasing the use of locally sourced components, enhancing production efficiency, and improving product quality. It reflects the development of Egypt’s technology manufacturing sector and showcases the factory’s capacity for innovation and sustainable growth.
realme led partners through the various departments where realme C85 Pro is assembled, tested, and prepared before market release. The factory currently produces 400 thousand devices per month and plans to increase production to 500 thousand per month to meet local and regional demand. The facility also provides 2,000 job opportunities for Egyptians, offering young people the chance to acquire new skills in smartphone manufacturing and enhance their professional capabilities.
During 2025, the factory contributed to the production of a leading range of locally manufactured realme devices, including realme C75, realme 14 5G, realme 15 Pro, and realme C71, alongside the upcoming realme C85 Pro. This demonstrates the company’s ability to meet both local and regional market demands while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Rather than merely showcasing finished models or providing technical presentations, realme demonstrated the entire manufacturing process, from component assembly to final testing. This allowed partners to observe the level of precision required to assemble a smartphone with advanced durability features. The company’s efforts have also increased the proportion of local components in its phones from 42% to 50%, supporting and localizing Egypt’s manufacturing, improving local supply chains.
The tour also highlighted realme C85 Pro with IP69 Pro water-resistance rating, showcasing the device’s advanced level of water protection. The device features a powerful 7,000mAh battery designed to withstand intensive daily use. It comes with a 4000-nit AMOLED display for clear visibility outdoors and is powered by the Snapdragon 685 4G processor, which balances reliable performance with energy efficiency.
It is worth noting that realme considers this achievement more than just a first look at a new device; it represents an important step toward strengthening collaboration with its local partners and a vote of confidence in Egypt’s growing manufacturing capabilities. This tour is the first of its kind, serving as an invitation to build trust through transparency and to highlight the pivotal role of local manufacturing in delivering smartphones that meet global standards.
