Phlog sponsors the exhibition of the «Tamkeen» initiative to empower emerging talents in photography and art

Phlog platform sponsors the exhibition of the ‘Tamkeen’ initiative, which will be held on May 29th. Tamkeen is a community initiative that aims to empower all individuals and create a long-term, sustainable network that links young talents from marginalized communities with established artists. This will be done in collaboration with the Tawasol Association. Which is an association that aims to serve low-income communities, one of them isEzzbet Khairallah, This initiative is under the patronage of Virtual Vibes, which is a creative virtual platform that showcases diverse artistry from the Arab region, with a focus on Egypt.

As a main partner in the initiative, Phlog has played a significant role in producing the entire exhibition and showcasing the artworks and photographs of participating children and youth from Ezzbet Khairallah. In addition, Phlog sponsored photography workshops and provided all the necessary tools for photography, which helped the participants unleash their creativity and maximise their benefits.

Phlog emphasized that its participation in the Tamkeen initiative stems from its belief in the importance of empowering and building the skills of emerging talents, giving them the opportunity to make a significant impact in their communities, and helping them create an effective social influence through art. This is achieved by connecting them with established artists to exchange experiences and skills and by providing them with all the necessary tools to develop their skills and push them towards creativity.

It is worth mentioning that Phlog is the first of its kind in Egypt that builds a community that equips photographers with the tools to uniquely capture their world, and to monetize their work without compromise, through two applications. photographers’ application, which was launched on a trial basis in March 2022 and succeeded in reaching more than 30,000 users. This application had more than 32,000 photos uploaded to the application, and more than 69 campaigns with an average of 122 winners in the first year of its launch. The other application is for image buyers.
